Do I have to be a member to volunteer?
No, service here at Mountain Lake Church is a great way to plug in.  Obviously we have different areas of service that we require membership, but many of them are designed to give new people a place to plug-in.

What if I don’t know where to volunteer?
Choose your top three and try them out.  Our Guest Services Rep will work with you to find the best possible place for you to serve.

I only have limited time can I still volunteer?
Our ministry areas range in time, commitment, and experience requirements.  Some of our ministries only require one to two hours a month, while others require several hours every week.

How do I get involved?
Take a few moments to review the Service Information section and fill out the Contact Information section.  Someone from our Guest Services will get back with you shortly.

Can I volunteer in more then one area?
Yes, some of our ministries require little time and will allow room for other involvement.  We will be glad to help you navigate the waters of multiple service.  Our goal is always to help our volunteers maintain a healthy balance.

What if I am ready for a change?
Often we choose to change ministry for a variety of reasons.  During our spiritual initiative many are sensing God calling them to stepping up to a higher level of service involvement.   Others are simply serving in areas that don’t provide the same fit.  Contact your ministry leader and give him/her a notice and contact our Ministry Coordination Team and they will help facilitate your transition.
